We are still looking for guys!

It is okay if you all want to ignor this group buy. It is okay if you all want to be slow. I can understand if you want to let a Raptor walk all over you because you didn't jump in on this deal. I mean having this pipe is not the end of the world, just like coming in second is not the end either. It is nothing to brag about coming in second. Your wife/girlfriend/mom might think to herself "oh yeah I knew it you never had the balls to come in first" Well this could be the day your life changes. So to all those out there who are tired of being in second, it is time to cowboy up! This group buy is your chance to get to the top of the hill first. Gain back those braggin rights make your mother proud again. Be the man (or woman...you never know) you always dreamed you could be. It is just a measely $428.00. You know you want to.

Cowboy up princess!

I know it is cheesy but i was bored while waiting for my pipe.

i think the tubing is all stainless, and the can is aluminum, but i could be wrong. from the people i have talked to that have this pipe, its THE pipe for the 525. supposedly huge gains and an awesome sound. i am one in on the group buy, and if you want in, he's turning in the group buy list to CT tomorrow, so better hurry!

Exactly what has been stated it is THE PIPE for the outlaw. You will have to jump in fast. There are lots of guys out there that have this pipe and even Quad Magazine did a blurb on how good it was for the outlaw. They stated that it really woke up the outlaw. For the price you can not go wrong!

the extra $300 for 10hp is awesome plus the weight savings is great. You wont be upset. plus the CT exhaust is tunable by adding or removing discs!

The stock outlaw is no slouch!!!! Just like everything I have heard, this pipe is the pipe. There are couple of guys on Predatorowners who have it and love it. I am in on it to try it out.

what do i exactly need him to do. does he have to call CT, or tell someone on here about it? and what will the price be?

He has to log into predator owners. See link above.

then he has to PM (private message) Codered30 and give him his name. Then once they have the 10 guys. Codered30 will send off all the names to CT. After that your buddy can call ct and tell them his name and that he is part of the group buy. His pipe will be about $430 approx.

Nice!

Is this buy done? Can I get in? I have a 2006 Outlaw 500.

It is over...sorry.
You would be better off with a different pipe for the 500. The 525 pipe is really good but the 500 was not well suited. I would suggest a HMF. Good pipe and fairly inexpensive.

I know the cheapest I found the HMF pipe at was on EBAY. It is a good deal. I don't know who makes the jet kit for it. Sorry.

I can get a stage 1 jet kit from DynaJet, but a lot of folks on this site say they aren't very good.

Thanks!

I was happy with my dynojet kit, but don't have experience with any others.

you guys can just buy the jets you need at chaparralmotorsports.com for about 3.50 a jet. that is way cheaper than the $60 for a kit. Buy your gear and stuff at the same time and save on shipping.

I've done it that way for years - local race shop would usually stock an assortment of jets for $4 or so each and I would tune it myself. I can always make it run good enough in all ranges to be reliable without dead spots or skipping. I always said that jet kits were a waste of money until I talked to a bike tuner guy; he says there is a difference in performance when using a dual taper needle which is only available in a jet kit.

Still haven't bought a jet kit for the Outlaw yet though.

I agree that you can get different performance from needles. Did you know that Keihin also has tons of needles. My theory is that if it does not have a rich spot throught out the throttle then why change needles?

I have a chart on predowners of all the needles. Maybe I will get more time later to post it.

On ktmtalk there is a thread that talks about all the needles and he tell you which Keihin needles the JD kit needles are close to.

Rumor has it that Dynojet needles make more power in the 500.....
