Which oil to use

What oil are you guys running on your yz400/426/450 hybrids? I've always used Maxima but I dont know which one to use.

i ran maxima premium 10 40 in my z485. then motul 3000.

now ive resently been hearing of alot of guys running rotella. ecspecially in ltr's

I`ve used the Motul 300V.

Remember, the engine oil is shared with the transmission and clutches.

Extra heat and dirt.

i was told by a good source that you could run mobil 1 in any 4stroke motor.is this true or just a myth??

I have run Moble 1 In a Yamaha Warrior 435 cc ,porting, & big cam. Never had a clutch problem.

The Moble 1 was recomended buy the shop that installed the 435cc kit.
