11-11-2001, 11:46 AM
after several brake burns on pavement my factory tires are almost shot.
i'm lookin for good tires for all arround use. i'm thinkin realtors, holeshots or bandits .
any encouraging words for any of the above?
i'm really looking for reviews on the realtors the most but would like to hear what you have to say about the others too

For your riding style I'd recommend the Goodyear Drag Slicks. They smoke nice when doing burnouts.

seriously.......

I would not reccommend Holeshots 4 you, they wear out too fast

I would reccommend Bandits, they have some nice deep tread, and will last a long time.......sidewalls mite be a little iffy though...

yea, i'd reccomend bandits, holeshots (mx) arent really bad on asfault, mine have lasted a year on my 300ex with a alot of asfault riding and there pretty much burnt. But on my friends 400ex he has the 20inch rear holeshot, there tall and will hardly ever show any wear! so id reccomend the 20 holeshots.

well im guessing he doesnt just put-put around like alot of people. Like me when you ride hard you use your breaks....HARD! and that will burn the tires QUICK, especialy stock tires!

i did burns all the time on my stock tires, i have the 50 foot strips to prove it out on the road, i like the blue smoke that come up too...any way i have since goten the 20 inch holeshot xcs they last alot longer than stock, and i wouldnt recomend bandits , my friend has them on his r and they suck

it is quite clear that there is no IQ requirement to buy a Raptor:D no offense Guy660r, you must be one of the only Raptor owners with an education.
