I was wondering if anyone has seen those oversized hand gaurds the GNCC pros are using? I was wanting to put some on my new quad so I have good protection. I have power madds on right now but I want those mud flap looking one.:confused:

I wondered the same thing until saturday at the Unadilla GNCC. I believe the guy that I asked told me that those big ones are made by Moose, I can't seem to find them online though. Powermadd makes some too but they aren't as big. They mount right over the regular hand guards so you can take them off when you don't need the extra mud protection. You can also put "wraps" on the powermadds to make the ends mount to the ends of the handle bars.

those are called elephant ears. they are by moose. powermadd makes some that i think are a little better. they are called guantlets. powermadd's wrap your hand all the way to your wrist, and is slim. not just a big blocker. IMO the guantlets are the way to go.
