With Fall being officially here ... the weather being nice and sunny with a cool breeze ... my girlfriend and I decided to go out and snap a few pictures with our trusty old Canon PowerShot A530 point and shoot . LOL

Anyways , I'm no professional , nor do I have a professional camera but I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. Post some of your own Fall pictures if you have any.

Ahhh man I absolutley love the fall. Im no pansie, but natures beauty just explodes this time of year. I actually thought of you Greg when I saw this barn in New Berlin NY this past weekend. The weatehr was crappy right up until we pulled out saturday evening and when the sun finally came out it was just awesome.

I have the free time I think this fall that we will be doing some fall photography at a few local places and some down near Blackwater Falls WV so I will post them in your thread as the leaves start to change here.

Awesome picture Ken ...... I probably past right by there when I went to Unadilla a few years back .... beautiful country to say the least.

Melodie was my model for today..... and surprisingly enough she enjoyed every minute of it. I need to invest in a good quality camera in order to get crisper images.

A little off topic, but I got a question for you since your from the land of Canada. There was a bunch of Canadians at the race I was at this weekend, and one of them came up to us asking if we wanted some fruit. He said he can't get across the border with it...Why's that. I've never been to Canada so idk lol

A couple of piece of old time mining equipment. Since I'm enrolled in a Mining program in College it was actually pretty awesome to explain all the stuff to Mel today since she's never seen these types of machinery.

And that's all folks . This is basically what you get from a $120 camera and a $10 tripod. :p

I couldn't have asked for a better day .... I might go out later in the week once the leaves turn colors even more... it's just the start of the Fall season so by the weeked it should be in full swing if we continue dipping down near the freezing mark each night.

Anyways .. Melodie was a great sport for letting me snap all these pictures of her ..... I hope you all enjoyed them.

Ya you can't bring any kind of fruit , veggies , plants , etc across borders unless they have been inspected by the proper departments that control them.

Some things are illegal , some things run the risk of contamination (pine beatles). So it's basically to ensure that no little critters or anything make their way across the borders and destroy crops, plants , forests and such .

Kind of like zebra mussels in the Great Lakes . They're originally from China ... made their way to north america stuck to the bottom of freightships. Now they are killing freshwater lakes .

I took this picture two weeks ago at the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. No color changes in the picture, but it was 51 degrees out when we started the climb. The trees are changing a lot in the U.P.

If your willing to pay for my gas to go back to NY:p It pissed me off so bad, because when we left the race the sun came out and it was stunning. With my big trailer I just cant whip off the shoulder as I would have liked:p

Nice picture Ken .

Fall is now in full swing for us . The temps have really dropped over the past 2 days ... in fact I had to scrape the windshield on the car yesturday morning because of the frost . It's an array of bring oranges, reds, yellows and browns right now ... looks awesome.

What program do you use to put borders around your pictures?

Weve had rainy and overcast conditions here for about a week. It makes great shots if you can find the right things to shoot. Some of my favorite fall pics are done in a grey setting (very even light)

We just had a rain shower here, if my chest felt better I owould have broke out the macro lens for some rain drop shot, but im moving so slow the light left fast:p

I cant lie, I have missed 2 in maryland:p The first doe my damn peep sight turned on me and while i was trying to use my finger (at full draw) to turn it, I hit the release and sent arrow about 10 feet over her back:ermm:

The following week, I was using a new climber stand and somehow managed to tear a muscle in my chest. Aweful to feel it rip. I decided to tuff it out and at dark one cam ein and I really shouldnt have even tried but once i got the bow to full draw I was in alot of pain and shot just under her:grr:

I did not hunt last week due to being hurt but this week is looking better, atleast I can use my crossbow if I can get someone to pull it back for me:p Thank god for some pain killers, this has hurt worse then when I broke my ribs:p
