I got the mods in my sig and I got 15f 38 rear and it seems to just be to much. What do some of you guys think for my gearing, I have a 36r,37r I was gonna put the 36 on. I am gonna be headin to the dunes and I dont wanna be riding in in upper gears all the time.Let me know what you think.

When you say its too much, do you mean its too high geared. If so, the 36 and 37 will gear it up even more. If you need to gear down, go to a 14 front.

Sorry too much as in tops out to fast. I wanna be able to ride each gear out a bit longer instead of having to shift so quick.

You should be close.

have you been to the dunes before?, sand robs alot of power and the stock gearing may be good for the dunes and gear down for dirt etc.....take them all with you to make changes on the fly. JMO although I have no sand experience

carry all the gears with you. gear it to what your engine pulls the best.

I have rode in the sand before, but I have not rode this quad in the sand though. I will take all of them with me and see what happens.

its so weird hearing sand robs power because you dont notice it at all riding in it almost all the time. Watching video of me riding though when I let off the gas I can see my quad slow down on its own quite a bit. Some say riding in sand you need higher octane because it puts so much stress on the engine? I run stock gearing and I like it. It could be a little lower instead of 15/38 maybe 15/39 or 14/37 so it has a little more acceleration but I look at it as just build up the quad to pull 15/38 just fine

It pulls 15/38 great but, it just seems like the quad has more in it and could use another gear. Im just tryin to get all I can out of it.

as a rough estimate one in the front is like 3 in the back so a 16 front would be huge over say a 37 in the back.

I have a calculator that would help show the difference if you want but it would have to be email.....the top speeds are really accurate but the changes are.
