oil leaking from head

I have a 04 450r and noticed that oil was leaking from a hole on the right side of the head. Its about a pencil sized hole that is cast into the head. Hopefully someone has some insight into what this means, thanks. Sorry no pictures at the moment.

That hole is a drain for the spark plug hole. If you have oil coming from there then the seal in the valve cover is leaking.

Colby is correct but also make sure it is actually oil and not just dirty water. Everytime I wash mine dirty water comes out of that hole.

Oil coming from that hole could also mean there is a crack in the head.
Happened to one of my friends.
