450r and 400ex axle

i was wondering if a 450r rear axle would fit my 400ex with no problems

In answer to you question no it will not there are many threads about this if you search it im sure you will find all the info it can be done it just takes some work and you need to swap the sprocket hubs and that involves a press in some cases i am currently using a 450r axle with 400ex sprocket hub,brake stay,and cdb racing bearing carrier works great no binding at all

I JUST CHANGED OVER THE AXLE, CARRIER AND BRAKES OVER FROM MY 440 TO MY 450R. WORKS PERFECT

so will a 450r axle and sprocket hub work on my 400 with my stock 400 sprocket

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^look at my post above you will need to use and aftermarket sprocket hub to clear the chain tensioners on your bearing carrier
