hotcams stage 2 install

Does anyone know if the video on the hotcams website for the crf450r is the same install for the 2007 trx450r?
Its a stock motor right now and I would just like to add the stage 2 cam. Does anyone know what the shims are supposed to be so I wont need to be the whole entire shim kit?

yeah they are the same vid. and i think its just a good idea to buy the whole shim kit. i use mine alot. and it makes maintence so much easier. I have 3 450s and it makes my life simpler.

the kit is like $75 and I will probably only need it once. what size shims did you use?

No one can tell u what shims you need, every bike will need different shims.
And as the valves wear more you will need new shims again.

Even from the factory and the heads are brand new the bikes use different shims.

Get the shim kit, it's worth it.
And it won't be the last time you need them, after a few months the valves will need to be adjusted again.
