Well this winter im looking to do many mods to my 400 that i just got a few months ago.

i would like to powder coat and paint all the major parts (frame work, ect..)

can you powdercoat youself?
or are there any good methods of just painting the frame youself?
i really dont want to send it all off to get it powdercoated and pay a crap load.

links/guides/advice, would all be very helpful. Thanks much.

To powder it yourself you would need the powder machine (a good one is prob a couple thousand), a oven big enough to put the parts in to bake it, and then the powder. Unless you know someone with all that you have to get someone else to do it.

YOU CAN POWDERCOAT yourself. Go to http://www.eastwoodco.com/ and check out the hotcoat system. Then go to powderbuythepound.com for your powder. THe only tricky part is the oven, but with enough reseach you should be able to build your own fairly cheap. I am going to be doing this myelf in the near future so i have done ALOT of research on this.
