2002 400ex $3000 many extras!

This quad has never been raced...just mainly run on trails or in coal. I am a 37 father of 2, so my riding time is quite limited. lol

Has had engine work done- cam, piston, etc. due to the need for some extra power- not due to any problems ever with the engine. Has ITP Baja wheels and Kenda tires. Full Pro Armour skid plates and front bumper. The nerfs are DG.

Everything is in really nice condition. The pic probably shows you more than I can explain. Normal scratches on plastic- no cracks/ breaks.

I can help meet for delivery and you can ride it for 30 minutes if you want.
This quad runs flawlessly and has really nice power but not too much engine work to where you need to worry about the engine's integrity or overheating.

I am selling to buy an Outlaw with IRS.

Excuse me for being ignorant- but it was the 'main three things' I was told to do to pep her up.
I remember cam, piston...and something else. I completely forget the third.
If you are local, you'll know Moto-Tech. They did the work. It was right around $500; done last fall.
It pulls a lot stronger than it did in stock form. This engine is solid(like all ex's). Does not leak any oil, and pulls harder through the gears with more power hill climbing. That was the main reason I had them work it up a bit. To get up some hills at Trevorton.

If you are local and want to come by to ride it around, no problem.

I know 3 grand is a bit more than some of the other ex's I have seen for sale. But, I am the second adult owner(previous was in his 40's, I am 37). And it does have Pro Armour a-arm, body, and swingarm skid plates. Plus, the Kenda tires have about 8 hours of time on them. The oil and filter has been changed every other ride at Treverton or Caledonia which is about every two months. Yeah, I don't ride that much. It also has ITP Baja wheels and various other parts I added in the past year.

So, this is not a beater and has not been modified to be raced.

I'll need to get the receipt for the engine work- it is at my office.
