I am trying to get my daughter more seat time by riding on our own property; the problem is the pipe is a bit too loud for neighbors. Does anyone know of a different silencer, or baffle?
It has the works style pipe w/carbon fiber silencer (stock)
I am trying to make my own silencer, but not having much luck so far.
try paper towel tube or wrapping paper tube.
new one each time
id imagine performance may be comprimised:confused:

yes, DRR makes a "quiet pipe" go thru your dealer, or, if needed contact DRR direct and ask them for the part number to give to your dealer - I had mine the next day.
Keep in mind you will probably have to re-jet and tune the cvt for the quiet pipe.
It does make a huge difference, and the power isnt all that bad - especially for the home track!

Installed the new quiet pipe; everything seems to be good.
I have not had a chance to ride at full throttle- will i need to re-jet the carb. If so does anyone know what jet sizes i will need.
thanks,

I put the quiet pipe on our 90cc, and without re-jetting we completely fouled the plug after a couple hours of riding - Gary helped suggest the new jet sizes - remember to change the cvt too!

why or what do i need to do to the cvt?

w/ the addition of the quiet pipe and re-jetting, the bike will probably produce power in a different rpm range than the stock setup - which would affect the cvt - but experiment and see what works best for you and your rider!
what i did for additional noise reduction was change the rpm range that the bike engaged in ( I lowered it - less rpm=less noise=happier neighbors)
