Can I run hot grips on my 400EX, on high, at night with my lights on without killing the battery?? does anybody know??

what is the current draw of the grips? If i remember correctly, the stator can handle an extra 50ish watts (I THINK).
Volts x Amps = Watts
So, if they are under 5 amps of draw, you should be ok.
Someone correct me on the load capicity please.

Hmm, OK. Let me check and see what kind of power these things use. I will need to run them at night a lot so i know that could be a problem with the lights on

it shouldnt bother the battery .......but make sure you turn them off....it wont take long to drain the battery down and then you'll be in deep chit. kinda hard to puch start in 8 inches of snow:p
i would add up the total amp draw with them and the lights on tho....i dont have my manual to check it for ya.

If it's real cold I grab the silencer. Header is a little too hot.:D

i have them on my 300ex. they dont piss the battery off if u turn the switch off.
they get really hot so they are nice.
