whats everybody running and how do you like it? i just bought a Cherry Bomb Vortex for my truck. Im kind of experimenting at the moment because my truck has a piston slap problem and while its not hurting anything its very very annoying. does anyone else have any experience with anything Cherry Bomb?

i have strate duels (with cat) on my ranger and it sounds really good. i have had a cherry bomb before and they are nice but i dont really think they sound good untill there broke in.

I'm running a Flowmaster super 44 behind my 5.4 sounds great at 2000 RPM's and actually gets quieter at 60mph and above.

Heddman headers on a 302, with 2.5" tubing into an H pipe, into 40 series flowmasters (duals) and 3" side exits right in front of the rear tires.

This clip is from before it was ran in front of the rear tires. Enjoy!

My tow pig has Stainless Works headers, custom 3" mid pipe, and dumped Spintech Pro Streets... I love the way it sounds.

dang and i thought my 4.6 with flowmasters sounded mean (i still like the deepness of it), on whichever truck i get next (whatever it may be, if any) i was thinkin of switching to magnaflow just for variety but as for as actual performance there all pretty much the same right? oh and whats a "cat"? just curious

im loving this thread. wonder what the best comdo of sound a power is my my 350 small block with the vortec. i like it to be deep and throaty a low rpms, but i love that raspy muscle car sound when you get on it hard. im wanting to do headers and all...thinking about getting rid of the cat and just sticking it on there for inspection. got any ideas?

Im running a y pipe that goes into a 2" exhaust with a thrush glasspack. It angles out right before the rear tire.

This is on a '89 f150 with the I-6 4.9

I think chrysler V8's are the BEST sounding 8 I have ever heard. Just something about them.

My second favorite is the corvettes exhaust note, and coming in third the ford 4.6/5.4

wow.. sounds great..

the audio on the recording did real well, most recorders cut out at the higher dB's.
