I just picked up an /85 Suzuki LT250R the top and bottom end have both been rebuilt, but the clutch slips. I've taken it apart and everything appears to be in good shape, lots of cork left, just wondering if anyone would have any ideas as to why this would be happening?
Thanks

If the wrong oil was used in it,it will never stop until you replace the disks. Also you can try roughing up the steel disks a little-just enough to take the glaze off.Does the basket have any chatter grooves in it?

no the basket's in pretty good shape, and not needing parts as of yet but I'll definately keep you in mind,
thanks alot for the info, buddy said he put auto 20/50 oil in it so I guess I'll be needing to change the plates now.
