can a 400ex axle be used in a 250r

been trying to find an axle but no luck was wondering if a 400ex axle can be used and what does it take to do it parts wise..any info helps thanks

just the hubs?it will work in the 250r carrier and the brake set up will work also?thanks

yep i got a 250r axle in the wifes 400ex I just had to use the 250r wheel hubs that was it. Otherwise went right in.

If you use a 400 axle in the R you just need the 400 hubs. Carriers match up aswell as the inner hubs.
