I recently bought a 2001 trx 400 that has a powerbomb header and power core4 silencer on it, in the process of going through the quad I notced the power core was a little loose on the header so I removed it and a few pieces of what looks like a round plastic spacer"like a 1/8 thick washer" fell out, inside the power core pipe is an indented area were it fit in "I assume " to seal the pipe and keep it tight.I called FMF and they have no idea what I am talking about, they say that they do not use anything like that and it must be the aluminumn sleeve(of course I obviously dont know the difference between aluminumn and plastic";) so I ordered the sleeve just in case they are right.Does anyone else know anything about that plastic piece?
