Ok, here is my latest to-do list. I have cleaned the carb and changed the plug (not saying my carb cleaning is perfect, but I did disassemble, spray, and put back together).

1) Won't run without partial choke.

2) Smokes like a mosquito fogger, and the smoke seems to come and go and lessen once it's really warm, but even then occasionally it will release a cloud.

3) Takes FOREVER to warm up, and even then bogs occasionally off idle.

Once it's warmed up it seems to have plenty of power and pull ok.

i had the same problem with my son's lt 80, found out that the pilot jet keeps getting clogged with crap, i started draining down the bowl after every ride and so far no problems, but you really need to take the 2 jets out and soak them in a good cleaner, i also had to blow them out with i pressure air. I have had to do this 4 times and we have only had the quad for six months, but once clean it runs great. We bought it new its an 06 and sat around for 2 years, so i'm thinking there was just crap in the tank. hope this helps
