how do the sizes run? i normally wear a 34 jean but have a pair of 36 MSR's that fit perfect; how is a 34 fox pant gonna fit?

Go with the 36s. I wear a 32 jean and the 34 fox pants. I also have MSR pants (34) and they fit about the same.

fox always runs a size small. im a 30-32 and i needed 34 in fox. i ordered so i could grow into them so ofcourse i ahve them tightened up all the way.

Depends also if you wear padded riding underwear or use the hip pads. Both take up some room. Just remember that.
