Well I don't have the frame yet.I am still looking.I think I have one found though.Same with the swingarm.I may end up buying a new one and won't need it to be powdercoated.

The frame I want to be silver vein.(silver with black speckels)I am sure you know what it is.Or a shiney black. The A-arms and hubs I want a shiney black to.

I had my frame and motor mounts done by Portland Powdercoating. The color I chose was candy blue. It was $300 including prep (you have to remove all paint, rust, etc before you can powdercoat). A non-candy color is $275 or so with prep. My buddy has a metallic blue on his shee that was $275.
I thought about getting my a-arms done also but I may just get them chromed.

I tried to attach a pic of the frame with the coating but apparently it's too large for the forum. Email me if you want it SpooledEclipse@aol.com or Oregon350r@aol.com

P.S. make sure whoever you chose is good about plugging all the holes and surfaces you don't want coated. It would be a huge pain to have to get out a thread tap and re-tap all the holes (powdercoating is thick)!

Hey Toby, Lee is an A class rider in the Missouri Harescrambles so if you need something powdercoated you guy could work something out. Just talk to him. I do small stuff and I'm in St. Joe.

There isnt any place cheaper on earth than the people here in TX that done mine. The reason they can do it so cheap is because they are a huge powdercoating shop that has contracts with the city(fire hydrants, pipes etc) and a large pipe company so they just throw your stuff in line with certain other parts that are being done a certain color. They done my frame, subframe, and spindles super mirror black with chrome sparkles and my a-arms, swingarm, cases, steering stem, aluminum airbox, hubs, air scoops, heat shield, and throttle housing super mirror red with chrome sparkles all for $200!! And that includes preping all parts, and 2 special order colors! Not only did it come out awesome but they done a great job on blocking off all the screw holes, and everything else that needed to be done!!

If you are going to do that, I'd just get real chrome. I saw PC'd "chrome" and it looked more like a semi-shiny gray to me :ermm:

yeah th HC reflective is the brightest most reflective ive used. it will dull i imagine but it does hold a higher degree of relectivity after its cleared then the other powders. i tell peeps that chrome pc resembles aluminum color more then chrome.
