I'm looking to buy a Dakota to haul wood with has a 3.9 in it wit 80,000 on itnim wondering if its worth to buy to haul wood with down a hill he wants 500 for it and I was thinking of pitting more leaves on it. Or should I look for a 1500

That dakota will probably work just fine. My friends dad has a ranger he fills all the way till something drags with firewood. If the truck is automatic though, I don't know if I would trust it.

Yes, it will be fine for hauling, but the dodge automatic trannys aren't the strongest in the world, so I wouldnt try to win any races while I was loaded. You might not like swapping the tranny out afterwards.
