Hey all!
just wondering if anyone has had any experience with full flight racing a-arms like these.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TRX400EX-400EX-3-1-A-ARMS-4-COLORS-FULLFLIGHT-RACING_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em122QQcat egoryZ43974QQihZ024QQitemZ370085999560QQrdZ1QQsspa genameZWD2V

mainly wanting to know what the overall quality is like and do the heim joints last or would arms with ball joints and bushings be better?

Not trying to hijack the thread, but can anyone explain to me what they mean by +3+1?? Sorry Ben, not trying to steal your thread.

+3 say how much the wider the arms are over stock and the +1 moves the spindles foward 1 inch making the quad longer.

yeah i have fullflight a-arms and they are working pretty good for me

i just have a problem with keeping one of my bolts tight that hold the bottom right aarm to the spindle it doesnt matter how much locktite i put on it somehow manages to come loose but i think thats just prolly my problem idk if anyone else has the problem and the powdercoat didnt last long i just bought them like a year ago and now im repainting them this winter

i think they are worth the price

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

Thanks Ben, if you get these, let me know what you think of them. Does moving the spindles forward an inch screw with the geometry of the steering?

ok so this is how the a arms work

the +3 is for how wide the quad is left to right
the +1 moves the shock mount up so you do not loos ride hight

this is what i have come to know i have a set of +2 +1 asr a arms and the are set like i said above i have the stocker kickin around if you guys want some pics for comparison

to answer the original posters question my asr a arms have the hiem joints and they hold up great a little white lithium grease before a ride will help quite the squeak for the trip to

no thats incorrect, any standard travel a arm can use stock lenght shock. now LT(long travel) requires longer shocks around 20 inches.
the +1 moves the a arm FORWARD like stated above.

Powermadds correct, except I think a 400ex LT shock is 19 1/4 long, 19 1/2 and 20" shocks are 450r LT.

I helped a buddy install these on his EX. Seemed to be fine. Didn't have any problems with them. Only rode it a few times though before he sold his EX.
