Blair Morgan paralyzed

Anyone else hear about this yet? I don't know the details, all I've heard is that he can't feel anything lower than his ribs. Anyone got some details???

i heard about somebody being paralyzed that rides a dirtbike but i dont kno who he is.. i just kno he goes to Breezewood Proving Grounds.

yea, blair morgan races sleds and dirtbikes.

He races the Canadian series for motocross in the off season, but otherwise he's a sled guy. He's also won at X-games snocross.

Yes it is true. Wrecked at Montreal Supercross practice. He had surgery already to fuse C-4 and C-5 and severed his spinal cord at C-6/C-7. :( He's still in ICU and will probably remain for a couple of weeks.

Prayers sent to the Morgan family and wishes for a speedy recovery. The guy launched Sno Cross into the limelight and was a fierce competitor on anything with a motor and is a great all around guy.

OMG I can't believe this!! I've been a long time fan of his, have met him quite a few times and have watched him race time and time again both in mx and snocross! He owns quite possibly the largest snocross team out there and is probably the greatest rider to ever touch a sled.

My prayers are with him and his family!

Blair Morgan? as in the guy who rides for ski doo over the winter? that is terrible. he was by far my favorite sled rider.

thats cause the 4 strokes are going so fast the 2 strokes have to go outta control just to win :devil:

but that really sucks. thats my biggest fear from riding. getting a back injury and being paralyzed. best wishes to their family.

It does really suck to see somebody go down and get hurt that seriously. It's a reality check that what we do is quite dangerous indeed, whether you're racing at a pro level or messing around in your back yard. It doesn't take much at all, and it's scary how easily what we take for granted can be taken away.

Him and the family are in my thoughts. You do hear of alot more ppl getting hurt in this sport any more but i think its due to the population of the sport compared to 5 or 10 years ago. Its growing fast and ppl just try to keep going bigger and bigger each time out.
