i want to make my own 4 wheeler frame out of 1 3/4 in steel pipe and get a 250f motor and make somehting so nasty nothing will touch it nto to say im not happy wiht my 2002 banshee but jsut saying it would be soemthing kewl or a cr500 motor would be kewl or cbr929rr motor

Hey man a 250f is not something nasty on a quad frame...A 250F is comparible to a 125cc dirtbike..You want somthing mean like a CRF450r,YZf426,KTM520 that is comparible to a 250cc dirtbike

I think it would be a great engine in a sport quad. it has like 33-34 hp at the rear wheels in a dirtbike, so it probably make around what a 400EX makes in a quad, I think.

a 250cc four stroke is equal power to a 125cc 2 stroke, a 450cc four stroke is equal to 250cc 2 stroke that is why they are in the classes they way they are, just look at the hp stats

buy a blaster frame, reinforce it, get the axle and a-arms, and swingarm extended. put better brakes on it and put in the 250 motor. you'll have one kickin quad.

why a blaster frame??? why not a 250r frame , might be a lil heavier but **** it will out handle anything and be really really light! and it wont be so dang small
