So i bought a new chain with the same amount of links as i had before 94. The new chain will not fit, it is less than a 1/4" away from fitting. Im pretty sure i have adjusted as much as i can. Is it possible that my old chain was stretched that much, is there any tricks to get it closer?

did you loosen the 4 allen head bolts on the back of the swingarm and move the carrier which moves the sprocket and everything to adjust the chain up?

that should deff fit especially with 13/36 gearing.

with my lsr swinger i think there is only 2 bolts, but yes i loosened them and adjusted it to all the way loose, at least i think its all the way loose.

You have a longer swingarm, you should have bought atleast a 96 link chain with your sprocket setup.

ur old chain was stretched out thats probally why

i would say add a link or connect the chain with it not on the sprockets and then put it on like how when you were a kid and your chain came off of your bicycle...and ride it a lil bit and it will stretch some and become normal.

U can do that with out breaking the chain or the sprockets, if this is safe to do i will def do it. I forgot about putting a chain on that way.

This does not work just so everyone knows.

I think im going to put my old 33t rear on with the new chain, ride it a bit so it will stretch then put the new 36t rear back on.

I tried it, it seemed like it was going to break my chain, it would get so tight when i was trying to roll it on that the whole rear suspension would come up.

Hopefully i can stretch it a bit with the old sproket on it, considering how stretched the old chain is i should have no problem.
