My mom has a 525 BMW (its a '94). We changed the battery on it and since we did that the radio says code. i know what thiss means. i pulled the radio out and found the code. is there a certain way to put it in?

yes it is. and i did but whenever i click the fifth didgit it beeps and nothing hjappens :huh

nothing happens meaning it still is asking you for the code? you can only do it 3 times a hour then you have to let it sit and try it again.

- Turn key to on position without starting the engine for two hours to get rid of the code wait

OR

- Leave the car off for 24 hours and it will reset itself for code input

turn key off an on and it should just say CODE _ _ _ _ _

disconnect the battery for an hr and try it again. i dont know whatelse you can do.

Happened to my BMW. I said F this gayness, went out and bought a headunit.


the fact I didn't/couldn't get the code motivated me too.
