hey guys need help with some parts

Well Im kinda desperate for a few parts to finish my R project that i think I need to get used, and rather then paying the ebay war premium I wanna see if I cant get some deals here and help out some fellow members.

So what Im looking for is an good straight axle thats gotta be +2-+4 adjustable.

aslo could use a good billet axle carrier but I might just grab a new one.

Also I really need a set of Long travel shocks that are 19.25"

and lastly Id like to find any and all fender mount brackets.

on a side note anyone have a 88-89 headlight and hardware or know if anything will work for a 88-89 hood??

If you need a headlight, buy one for a 300ex , make a tab for the adjuster screw and epoxy it on. abracadraba, you now have an 88-89 light. I have been using one for years as the 300ex reflectors were about half the price of a 250r and all they are missing is the tab :D

I need the upper and lowers for the front, and Im not sure how the rear works, I have maier fenders that came with L brackets for the wire support but I dont see where the support attaches at the top? I think Im missing a set of brackets that go into the uper area of the seat by the front latch hooks.

i have some pep fully adjutable lt shocks off my laeger that i might be willing to part with also have a matching rear shock.
they are valved and setup by lrd for a 175-185lb rider.

Hey Rob interested in the intake bolts, and is that a 38mm air striker? If so let me know a price on it.

And no I havent found a cover yet, Im thinking of just A. running the blue for now or B. selling it for like $65 and using that money towards a new red on from hinson (they sell for like $125 new)

I dont think hinson had red ones left last time i talked to them, if your interested i have a brand new polished cover i would sell you for $75 and i will see what size the carb is tommorow for you. If you take the carb and plate i will give you the bolts since I have a ton!! either way i will give you the bolts. you are talking about the bolts for the reed cage right?? 6 of them

Ya the 6 to bolt the reed cage to the cylinder. I gotta stick with the red theme, Ive got all the red ESR parts minus the head. The mag cover is Back ordered for 4-6 wks though...but Ill figure something out, like I said if I have to run the blue one for a while I have to. But im deff interested in the carb and bolts and if you have a TRX5 ESR pipe standard mount that would make my night...

That is the air striker carb with the wings on the bottom side right?

The shocks are 19.25 in. coming off of plus three arms.
springs are quad rate.
these shocks are off of Joe Byrds actual laeger 250r hybrid.
I will have to get pics for you.
the springs could use a pc but they are top of the line shocks no doubt.

the air striker carbs have "wings" at the bottom of the intake area to help throttle response, where the regular PWKs are just a smooth bore.
Here you can see the difference, the PWK41 is all smooth while the PWK38 A.S has the dividers

So yes its an air striker. Find out the size and shoot me a price when you can, and let me know what your doing with that ESR pipe. If u wanna hang on to it, no biggie I sort of have a back up plan on that.

Here are the front shocks like i said they could use a pc.
You dont see the fully adjustable peps much but anyway they perform better than anything ive used.
pappy pc's them for 40 bucks.

the shocks are perfect except for the cosmetics.
they were rebuilt probably 15 hours ago they are perfect as far as performance. no leaks ect. they are just in need of a face lift.

being joe byrds old shocks.
anyway they look bad now but for less than 100 pappy could make them look new.
right now they perform perfect.
Ill let these go for about the same price as crappy works shocks.

The top end fits alright but the bottom has a gap on each side...like when you mount a Z400/450R bumper and need to stack the washers. No biggie though, holes still line up. I thought bumper mounts were the same location just different design between 86-87/88-89.

Fit perfect on the lobo but i think there was a slight differnce in the years. I could be wrong though

I have no idea whats going on...but I can always snap a few pics to show you, Im damn near 100% sure my frame is a stock 88. The holes line up perfectly it looks like just the gap in each side on the bottom mount.

Master: I tried sending u a reply but your box is full. No the bolts havent come, clean out ur box and we can discuss the pipe. Also nope I dont have a ESR cage, Ive got a TRX boyesen rad valve.

g9901920: Sorry I didnt get the money out last night, but I was thinking, if I havent missed out yet, can you confirm the rear shock is for standard 250R linkage, if so I can paypal the money tonight, also if you have someone interested in just the rear Ill take just the fronts, if not I wont worry you with splitting up the set as I had already said Ill take all 3. hey thats no problem creech the rear came off a cr500 link i know the mounts will fit but not sure on the lenght i forgot that you has a standard 250r link so after looking it up the cr500 link is a lttle longer so that should make the rear shock longer. go for the front shocks for now.

Right now I still need an 88/89 headlight, a houser LT a arm lower shock bolt (smashed the threads on mine) and I wouldnt mind an aftermarket +2+4 axle, and some other misc. things. Bascially right now Im just trying to throw it together for a couple months to get some hours and riding in, then its coming all back apart to do it like I had first planned with powder and all the rest of the parts I have now but want to replace with better and do all new bearings and bushings.
