I have an 03 ltz400. When im riding the trails i dont notice it..but when im on pavement or anything flat my steering shakes really bad. I only notice it when im in 3rd gear and up. I dunno if its just the way it is or not. Anyone else have this problem and what could it be?

I have that happening too, i thought i had a bent rim replaced it and it didnt help. I found that i had a bent side wall on my rear tire. Also the reason you dont notice on the trail is because its probably so bumpy you dont notice

Do you have tire slime in your tires?

yes i have tire slime in my front right tire, but i just put some in because of a small hole and it still had the problem before i even put that in. I have like a half inch of play in my steering. If i have it parked and just wiggle my handlebars without movin the tires...there is a small amount of play. Could the bushing be shot?
