05-06 frame the same?

Is the 05 and 06 frame itself the same? i know the subframe is different but im building a practice bike and if i get an 06 frame can i build it up with all 05 parts, including th engine? thanks

so i need an 06+ motor for an 06+ frame, an 05 wont fit even with the 05 motormounts?

havent done it myself but the way i hear is all the suspension components work the aarms if you use 05 arms u need 05 spindles in order for the camber to be right. there is someone on here i think thats got either a 06 frame with an 05 motor in it or visa versa 400exrapes i think his name is.

EDIT never mind i did some research it was a an all 04 just repainted like the 06 frames sorry about that.

the frames do have some minor differences. The way the wiring harness mounts up front is slightly different and some other small stuff. from what i have seen from all my tear downs i dont think it is anything drastic enough to keep you from running an older engine im just sure you will need to older motor mounts.
