mean headlights

I have seen a few first gen 400ex's on here that have some kinda plastic cover or tape on the headlights to make them look like they are pissed off. I think it looks cool i want to do it to mine. are they covers or do you just spray paint them or tape them off? if they are plastic where do you get them at?

I have seen it done on a bike here in Utah. he just used electrical tape.

I am going to use vinyl soon. This is with electrical tape though in the picture
