Looking for info on cables and brake line length for stock height handlebars with 2 inch risers. Pics also. Is there enough length? Are they too tight? Anything..
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

2" Rox risers with renthal bars, all stock cables.

everything works.. i just had to take a few of the cables out of the guides or whatever that route them for some extra slack. i also had to move the throttle assembly in on the bar just a hair (keep in mind they're wider aftermarket bars... you'll be fine if they're stock).

That's great, thanks again!!! How do you like them? Are they a true vertical rise? Did you have to put your bars foward to get some length for the lines?

i love them. you get two rotation points so you're options are way more broad than just a clamp riser. i have the risers set up vertically, not inline with the steering stem, so the bars are the same fore/aft position, just up another 2" vertically. like i said the only line i had trouble with was the throttle, which i moved in very slightly; a tight left turn would pull the cable and the quad would rev, lol.

i found them used on this forum actually, but i was watching them go for $80-90 new at the time.

no problem, good luck. these risers are also available in a version that clamps to your 7/8" stem but the top clamp is for 1 1/8" fat bars, if you're looking to upgrade bars, too. these renthals were on the bike when i bought it, so i didn't bother.

r those bars the same hieght as stock w/o the risers?

I would just get a +2 inch anti vibe stem. It's worth the money, plus it makes the quad look extremely finished. IMO.

except for when you bend it. then you just spent twice as much.

Ya, but anti vibe> stock stem any day....It's so much better, they don't bend as easy. Plus sometimes your bars bends rather than your stem with a high quality stem.

that isnt really a true statement. I forgot who did a test but they said most aftermarket stems arent any stronger than stock and they will bend just as easy. Aftermarket handlebars are pretty strong and most of the time the stem bends when the bars are that strong. They sell antivibe risers to add onto the stock stem too.

I'm not saying the aftermarket aren't strong. I know my lsr stem is better than stock in strong wise. Idc about price, I've bent renthal bars. They aren't strong, honestly, if price is an issue the quad scene isn't for you. Quality comes at a price.

I just dont find it nescessary to spend $500 on a steering stem when the rox risers are cheaper and offer more adjustablility. Then i can spend the rest of that cash i would have spent on that expensive stem to get the bars I want, a stick steering stabilizer and still have plenty left over. I just dont see the point unless you have done everything else to your quad and you want looks of a shiny steering stem.

lol. the "quad scene" isn't my main hobby. if price wasn't an issue i'd have a 450 anyways. i have other bills to pay.
