LT80 not moving..

finally got the quad to go, although it doesent move..its leaking oil from the case where the pull start goes?? is this suppose to happen?

or is is slipping somewhere, the wheels are moving fine when raised up a little off the floor

Sounds like a clutch problem , have you pulled the clutch cover (sidecase) off to inspect for obvious problems ?

not as yet, surely if oil is getting in the clutch that wouldent be good?

how much are u talking for a new one?

You need to inspect inside the case and find out exactly where the oil is coming from , its hard to say price wise because there are so many variables !

It's the gearbox leaking. Sometimes just tightening the bolts works, sometimes you need a new gasket.
