Valve adjustment

Have 2007 250ex that I bought used for my son and need to adjust the valves. Does anyone know what feeler gauge I need to use to adjust them. The ticking noise is very loud.

my owners manual says valve clearance should be 0.13mm (0.005in)

now is that (0.005in) is that both intake and exhaust side?

it doesnt say only says as above so i adjusted my intake & exhaust the same & have had no probs
