Will a 90cc motor/tranny fit into a 50cc frame with out mods? Both are air cooled...Thanks

Yes, I believe they SHOULD be the same frame, as well.

Thanks guys, instead of buying another 90, maybe I will just upgrade ours to a 90cc, it is a single a-arm, but would make a good backup quad,I would also like to get wider a-arms for up front as well, if you know of anybody that has a set for standard length shocks, like 42" wide a-arms....

frame is the same on 50/70/90 even the single a-arm

FYI on dual a-arm keep in mind that in 2007 there was two differences in the upper a-arm mount location early 2007 was set back toward the engine, hence not much room to get to the head or plug. Later 2007 ones to now they moved the top a-arms ahead so more room up front . You need to know this if you are going to run an aftermarket front suspension and let them know which one you have

Your single a-arm frame can be upgraded to a dual a-arm

I think Metrakit has a kit that would be a nice upgrade and the price may be good too.

I spoke with Ozzie about it before, but I don't remember all the details, but I'll see what I can out for you

I wopuld weigh the options, a new up to date 90cc will have some advantages and you can sell the single a-arm and pocket the money. things like disc brakes and water cooled , are worth getting the new one, IMO.

We currently have a 2008 DRX90, so this would be a practice quad of sorts and/or a backup quad, I was just thinking that I could probably only get 1000.00 or 1200.00 out of this quad if I was lucky, so I could spend about 600.00 and have a 90, yes not as up to date, but should make a good second quad....Just thinking....This always ends up getting into my wallet, huh Gary? .....He treated us great on our2008 90cc one..
