pc 400ex arms quik question

do i have to remove the ball joints in my upper stock arms to get them pwder coated?

they cant be removed as they are pressed in...but as for pc ing them, some say you cant,it melts the boots, but some say they have done it with no problems, hopefully some 1 chimes in tht has more knowledge about it...

I wouldn't but some say it can be done. I know my powder coat guy says people bring stock ones in all the time, he does not guarentee the powder coat because the grease will beak down when they are baking and ooze onto the PC and he says it ruins many of the ball joints.

IMO stock arms should just get a good paint job and they will look great.

i agree that i could do the stockers first remove the boots and then degrease as much as possible its deff do able but couldnt gaurentee as said earlier

never really looked at a set of stockers if their pressed in why couldnt u press them out? and then back in again
