ok heres the deal. my mowin business is whinding down for the year and im lookin for a cheap alternative to wideing my quad, till i go back in business. i refuse to flip my rims or use wheel spacers, ive heard to many bad storys bout em.
my question is, will extended front hubs flex my rims like wheel spacers would? any input is greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Chris

I think there basically the same deal they both aint good, idk bout your funds but I would just save up for some cheap arms. Theres always good deals on here floating around. Anyways that what I would do simply cuz I'm not a believer in extending hubs or spacers.

my 2 cents.

widening kit (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-400ex-or-450r-A-arms-Widening-Lowering-Kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1163Q7c39Q3a1 Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2e c0Q2em14QQhashZitem180289438753QQitemZ180289438753 )

not sure what i think of them.. but its an option.

also what about 2+3 front rims. i run them.

nah i aint puttin diamondj on my quad. i ride to much mx for that chit. i thought about 2:3 offsets. was there a noticable difference in your width?
honda4 i would most definatly buy some a arms. if i had the funds. but if these extended hubs create the "flipped rims effect" i will jus save another hundred or so for some cheap sorennson's or something

I know 3:2 is just a little bit wider than stock but still not equal with the rear. 2:3 would probally make it the same width as the rear or close to it. +1 and +2 a-arms I have seen for $200. If you ride a lot of MX your better off just going +2 a-arms

the most i wanna spend is 375-400. but right now i only have 50 bucks, all my cash went to my elkas. thanks honda4, but until i get some more cash, theres rele no need. but after i get the cash i would love some help :D
i do have another questions tho. some companys say that for +2+1 a arms i wont need extended brake lines. is this true?

I think you might be good with +2 lines, when i bought my lines i bought +3 lines for my +3 arms and I have alot of excess line left so I would think it might be the same with the +2 lines.

Well even though you dont have the money right now i'll still keep ya posted about finding arms.
