me and my freind are having an argument hahah. he thinks if he spray paints his plastic on his 1985 kx80:rolleyes: it will not chip or anything...he isnt using any high tech paint or nuttin and he says he is gonna paint flames on it...i told him it wil prabably chip off after some time but he insists on saying it wont....do you think the regualar spray paint will hold up on plastic.....i say no but im open for answers.

Nope Your Buddy is totally wrong. If you spray paint your plastic it will chip off or scratch off. Unless he doesn't ride it. And when you sit down it will rub off where ever your legs are touching.

It won't last long at all and it will look like crap when it's starts cracking.

Best bet would be for him to mark off the flames on the plastic where he wants them, and bring them to an auto body shop and have them spray them. It will obviously cost more than if he did it himself, but it will last longer. The body shop will add a flex agent to the paint that helps keep it from cracking (unless he can find spray paint that has a flex agent already added to it, which I'm not sure exists).
