engine question/ tear down

when you get torn down at a race what do they check. do they just see if you have a 52mm piston or do they measure your crank stroke etc. also what is the difference between 43mm and 45mm stroke????

They check what ever you are being Protested for, if its CCs then they will check both bore and stroke. The difference is that the 45 is two millimeters longer in stroke than the 43.

you can run a 43mm or 45mm crank and be legal in 90cc class if you go to the 50mm cyl kit.
