Anybody recognize this ignition??

A friend picked up a new R and this was on it. Only thing he knows about it is its stamped PVL. Has anybody ran this set-up??What are its benefits and weaknesses.
Thanx alot and Arlan has started final assembly on my engine....its been a long hard road.

I believe that its kinda like the cr ignition except it had some adjustablilty. I think you can advance the timeing depending on how you bolt up.

That's a pvl by penton, go to pentonimports.com to learn about it. You can print off a manual for it from their site. I have one but haven't installed it yet. :)
