I have a feeling I know what the answer is going to be but just figured I would ask. Anyways I cant kick my bike over the kicker will not budge. What does everyone think the problem is?

Thats not good.. did you notice anything while you were riding it last like power decrease? most likely seized.

Have ya checked for metal in the oil filter?

Piston welded to the cyllinder wall. (siezed)

Whats wrong isn't what you want to worry about. It's what caused it. Jetting, lack of oil, overheat, etc...

My guesses..... Broken valve, broken ring, rod/crank bearing failure.

gonna need some more info before anyone can diagnose that problem. Could be as simple as the kicker gear binding or the spring breaking and wedging in the teeth(which has happened)

I agree, need more info. If you put it in gear can you roll the bike and see if the engine turns?
Same thing happened to a buddy, kicker would not move, rolled it in gear, wasn't locked, pull started it, and ran fine.
The problem ended up being in the kicker istelf.

YOU GOT A CRANK PROBLEM............

The decompression adjustment may have come loose to the point that you are kicking under full compression of the motor. It's not likely, but it's happened before. Kicker is extremely hard when it does this.

It could be alot of things really. It's more than likely the crank though.

mc racer is right. take the plug out, put it in gear, and roll it around. if the piston doesn't move then start tearing it down...

Well I looked at all other options and everything else seems fine. nothings broke inside kicker, clutch is fine, but you cant push it at all. I new it was the crank but honestly i dont feel like fixing it. its not mine so i dont have any problem cause its my buddys bike!!!!!! nahh guess i will be getting dirty tommorow

ok so the kicker frees up how i dont know?? So I kick it over and it has plenty of compression and starts on the first kick, runs for about a min and starts knocking!!!! so i shut it down real quick and the kicker is froze up again?? what is the deal?? if it was the crank i dont see how it woul kick over and run, but then again i dont mess with my 4 stroke it goes to the shop so maybe you guys can help me help him. Thanks

If it didn't push at all in gear, it shouldn't have started up.

knocking as in a clank? Or like a grinding. I would pull teh oil filter. If theres metal you got yourself a washer failure in the crank. There her down!

more like a clank not grinding.

It was probably a crank failure, If your crank locked up when you were riding it the whole motor is probably junk......Idk we have had several 2 stroke sleds seize up and wreck pretty much everything inside the motor except the tranny. Gl anyway.
