What brand skid plates are you using and where are you buying them. I have a full Roll Design Lobo MX chasis and I need skid plates but I cant seem to find them.

maier & tag both make plastic skids their very durable & easy to fab that is if you have a narrow frame ect.

Call Duncan, or AC and see if they make one for it, Or try IMS/Roll.

Honestly good luck finding true skids that will fit without mods. that is unless your looking for used ones but new you probably wont find. if you have any interest in used let me know.

I saw a used one on ebay but I felt it was a bit overpriced. $125 for a used chasis skid without mounting harware seems a bit steep for me. The chasis skid is pretty easy to make. The rear will require a bit more work.

I called roll and they told me PRM, AC, and Badger? (i've never heard of them) can make them for me. So I called AC and PRM and they didn't make them at all. I then called Duncan and they told me if Roll doesn't make it they dont sell it.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

Yeah they have all types of aftermarket bikes on their site they make the skids for. I dont even thing they have to custom make it. they advertise as being the only ones to make stainless steel skids too.

Heres the badger skid plate

under side

One thing the badger is stainless steel heat treated and extremely heavy

If you can bend the three angles to meet the swing arm mounts the side pieces are just 90 degree angle material, not all that hard to reproduce. I have an aluminum one on now.

Otherwise your going to have to call Doug Roll/Roll Design
