Dumb newbie question.

Ok, my buddy has a 400EX and i have a TRX450R. I just got my bike and have never had quads with chains before. Ive always had a dirtbike. We need to adjust the chain on my buddys 400EX and I have no idea how to do it. He doesnt have a manual. I have a owners manual from my 450R. Is it the same basic procedure? Of is there a link on how to adjust them? I feel extremely stupid asking this cause Ive been around bikes my whole life Ive just never had a sport quad. Thanks very much for the help.

on the rear of the swing arm there are four hex head bolts, loosen all four of them. now you will see a "ring" that is between the rear sprocket and the swingarm on the axle. you will see some holes in the "ring" to adjust it. just get something in the holes and adjust it that way. its pretty easy to do once you know how to do it.
