how are you possibly 53" wide? with +2's and stock offset rims, im about 48ish in the front, and a +4 axle brings the back to about 49.5.

do you have extended hubs too? also your sig says holeshot hd so are you setting up for xc or mx? 53 is too wide for both but esp xc

i'm at 45.2" in the rear I think I measured but with razr tires its 46.2" and the front is stock i believe its around 42.5 or 43.5"? I ride a lot of trails so i like having stock a-arms incase you wreck then it is cheaper to replace

yea i have a +4 axle and +3.5 hubs on the rear the front is only +2 its so sick i was riding at the local practice pit it has huge burms and lots of hills molguls well its lacking good jumps all it has are 2 small step ups but i love it being that wide...its perfect you can roll it side to side ud have to be a moron i was hanging like 20fr burms and tearin up my buddie on a modded raptor 660 its works great..............why do you guys say its too wide?????

ps
i got the hubs for the winter ice flat track races and installed them to see how they worked i like it so im leavin it but wanted your guys opinion as i respect this site and all its good/bad idea's

because most mx races have a 50 inch limit.....seems like such a different width ratio from to back would hurt handling IMO

plus thats alot of leverage on the inside of the axle it you do alot of jumping

normally being that much wider in the rear creates a "three-wheeler effect", so its tippy in the corners. but if its workin for ya, great. ive always liked being wider in the front, especially in the woods, that way you know of your front tires clear, your rears will too.

Same here, previous owner musta installed wider axles or offset rims b/c my axles look way long and the rims have a huge offset.

I am not sure why someone would do this and leave the front stock tho?

For the best handiling characteristics you want you front wider than the rear. About an inch or less.

I think hub to hub is more appropriate because thats where the tire actually touches the ground.
