what kickstarter?? trx crf motor

i have a trx 450 motor in my 400ex. im wondering what you trx/crf guys do for a kicker in a 400ex chassis. the stock kicker hits the frame and you need to cut the plastic.

I will be going through this same issue in a week or so. From what i gather the TRX is the kicker to use and cutting the plastic is the only way. I may try and weld up a shorter one and see if i can still kick it over but that is the only thing i can think of. The CRF kicks back so it wont work if i am thinking correctly. It will swing out the wrong way and when you kick it, it will fold in.

For the crf you need to buy another knuckle, grind the top part off and weld an extension inbetween the knuckles. Then get a longer bolt to fill the larger gap.

get ahold of ss440ex on here.he did my kicker extension for me a few weeks ago.it only took about 2 weeks or so and he ordered all the parts for me and everything.i just sent him my kicker and a money order and he had it back to me asap.and a top notch job at that..
