Valentine V1 radar

does anybody on here use one? Im going to be ordering one soon. I got pulled over the other night for speeding. He said his radar clocked me at 92. I sweet talked my way outta a ticket tho:devil: . He really liked my car and he said he had a cobra as well:D . But yeah does anybody on here use one? if so how do you like it? Im either going to be getting that or the beltronics STI.

buying a radar makes you think you can go faster with out getting caught. but in reality a cop does not need a radar to tell reckless driving. most of time they dont have it on till they see some1 hauling. My uncles a cop and he gets them all the time and watches them scramble to hide it.

The V1 is the best bar none! I don't use it to speed! I use it to make sure i am not speeding !!!

go look on Ebay and see how much used one go for and that will tell you they are good ! I had one that was 4 years old and sold it to upgrade to a newer one and got 90% of the original cost back ! How can you go wrong ?

valentine is deff one of the best you can get but i use the Beltronics Vector 955 its pretty good and has paid for its self already. in the summer time i go to my grandparents house about 2-4 times a month in WV over by charles town which is about 160mile drive for me and i drive about 70-75mph whole way i also like the radar detector detector which have yet to see if it works but all around its great

i know in NJ and NY they are illegal to use but not to have so they have to find a way to prove you have it on. My friend has a Valentine in his Viper and it works awesome and have saved us quite a few times.

The SRX is a multi component sytem. The head unit hides where you want it (mine is next to the parking break lever), the radar and laser units are mounted behind the grill. Very cool!

Radar detectors are banned in Virginia.
Radar detectors and radar jammers are illegal in the District of Columbia.
Radar jammers are illegal in Oklahoma, but radar detectors are legal.
In New York, radar detectors are illegal for commercial vehicles over 18,000lbs.
In IIlinois, radar detectors are only regulated in commercial vehicles.

west virginia i'm pretty sure is the only one i know of. if you get pulled over and you have one hough the cops hate to see that. dont expect to get out of a ticket with a radar detector sitting visibly in your car.
