Well Gentlemen Ive been riding a 400 ex for years. It is a great relaible machine but it was just to small for me. I am 6-4 230 pounds. At time's I found it underpowered and at other times I was just to physically big to be comfortable on long riding days. I had seen a left over Can-Am DS 650X at a local dealer and I offered them $5100.00 and they accepted it. Here is a picture of it and below that is a picture of what I used to ride. Just wanted to say the Can-Am is a beast and it is just so comfortable to ride.

Thanks for asking, the machine is great. I just have to get used to the rotax engine sounds. Just a little different from the run of the mill 4 stroke. Can't believe the difference between the ds650 and the 400 ex. I'm clearly convinced I should of bought one a long time ago. My riding buddy has an 02 ds 650 that runs great and he rides it hard. Great machine and I am very happy. The X model comes just about race ready, not mx though. I just toy with mx I really do alot of trail riding and XC riding.
