i have a 05 with a 13 to 1 piston, stage 2 hot cam, ported head, and sparks exhuast. It runs great but as soon as i let off th throttle it pops alot when deaccelerating. actually really bad. I have one of those hrc needles in it with a 185 main jet in it. what will make it stop popping? it also has a k&n filter with out the airbox lid on it.

It has older pep zps's long travel shocks with long travel laegers on it, and when i lift up on the front, one wheel comes off the ground before the other one. I counted the clips and they are the same. any reason why they are not working in sync?

That or larger pilot jet.

Go with a 50 or a 52 Pilot jet ... Everyone alway thought i was crazy with my quad and a 52 pilot jet but HEY, it worked for 3 yrs with me ...

Shocks, check for any Binding issues with bushings, balljoints, Tie Rods and ends, and when it comes down to it, you might just have too much shaft travel or not enough from one shock or the other ... Normally this is a Ball Joint or bushing issue with the A Arms or even a Bushing issue with the Top and Bottom of the SHocks, SO LONG as the shocks are MFG. the same ...

I was messing around with the quad tonight, greased the front end up and the one tire is still coming off the ground late. It didn't do this before 929 took a spill with her so I know that it was good before. Anything else to check before pulling the shocks off?

With the jetting, there is already a 50 pilot jet in it. Do the hcr needles have adjustable clip positions? I didn't put the clip in it but the stocker does have the clip adjustments, I'm thinking of just dropping the clip one and giving that a try.

i do have a similair setup but i have a 55 slow jet.

i think your slow jet is too small.

i ran a dyno jet jet kit when mine ran like garbage. they dont work. a 165 can be a different size the another 165. try the size you have in but get it from honda

I run a 13:1 piston, have the head work, Sparks exhaust and I run a 52 pilot with a 190 main...

When it gets a little colder here in the east I start to get the popping at decel also... Could be the cold air??

I was told by my motor guy no more than 2.5 out on the air/fuel screw....

if you need to add more then 2.5 your need a larger jet
