Seems sort of soon to me for an 06, but luckily they crapped out when I pulled in the driveway after a ride, well, thats when I heard the grinding noise anyway. Dealer quoted me $80 for the bearings and seals, does this price sound about right? or should I stay away from OEM ? Thanks..

go with All Balls bearings and seals. We sell them at the shop for $12 per bearing and $4 per seal...totals about $30 after tax. You can get them from Tucker Rocky, KK motorcycle supply, just to name a few. Parts Unlimited doesn't carry them

dang how do they go bad that fast? I have a 2004 and the only thing I have replaced from being worn out so far were brake pads and now my one a-arm has a little bit of play in it so that will probally be replaced.
