atc motor

i have an 87 250r and was wondering if a 85 atc motor was the same...are the cases the same?whats the differences in the gearing?..thanks

I ran one in my 250r when it was all together. Its a hard ripping motor for a stock engine id have to say myself. It was fun while it lasted. Now im just trying to get rid of the motor :(
