Anyone know what all is needed off the 450r electrical system for it to operate in an 07 400ex? I know the harness is drastically different so should i bite the local salvage yards $200 bullet and get the entire electrical system off the bike or try and pick everything up individually off of ebay. Let me know asap because i am heading there tomorrow and returning with an 05 450r engine. Also what has everyone been doing with the kicker as far as the plastic. Just cut it out or is the rumor true that someone makes a kicker that wont hit the plastic. I am talking about when it is tucked back. The 450r is notched for it and the 400ex is not. Could it be kicked over with it shortened?
